The Performing Arts Society is proud to present the Polar Winds in a performance on March 21, 2015, at 7:30 PM at Soldotna Christ Lutheran Church. Other performances will include a concert in Cooper Landing on March 19 and a school concert for KPBSD students on March 20th. Their concert consists of compositions written specifically for wind quintet by composers Valerie Coleman, Jacques Ibert, Eric Ewazen, Gyorgy Ligeti, and Francis Poulenc. The Poulenc composition is a sextet for wind quintet and piano, on which they will be joined by Kenai pianist, Maria Allison. Admission to the concert is $20 for general admission and $10 for students, and tickets may be purchased at Already Read Books and Country Liquor in Kenai, Northcountry Fair and River City Books in Soldotna, and at the door.
